One must realize what it takes to make society work in a complex world. Short, sited goals may mask long term opportunity. Savings today may limit gains tomorrow. The era of low interest rates should let everyone put any cost-effective project in America in play. Double down on the future when the cost and risks are low. The danger of reason is bean counters dictating the future.
